Toyota Yaris Engine Specifications
The all-new Toyota Yaris is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine that produces 106 bhp of max power and 140Nm of peak torque. The motor is paired with a 6-Speed manual gearbox as well as an optional 7-step CVT automatic gearbox. Toyota claims that the manual transmission offers a mileage of 17.1kmpl, while the automatic returns 17.8kmpl of fuel efficiency. Buyers also have the choice of paddle-shifts with the CVT, but that's offered with the top-spec VX trim only.

Toyota Yaris Features
The Toyota Yaris comes with a well-organized cabin that offers latest gizmos - a must in this segment. Toyota Yaris features include roof-mounted air-vents with ambient illumination (a segment first), 8-way adjustable power driver seat, flat floor for the rear section, glass-high solar energy absorbing (HSEA), and tyre pressure monitoring system. Another segment first is the 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with gesture control. The Yaris sedan also gets automatic climate control air conditioner. Audio, telephony, and cruise control functions come mounted on the multi-functional steering wheel.

In the safety department too, Yaris leads the segment with 7 airbags including curtain and knee airbags, front parking sensors, rear parking sensor with a camera, ABS with EBD, stability control and disc brakes for all four wheels.
